Ready Steady Go Kids is Australia's leading multi-sport program for children aged 1.5-7 years. Running classes at over 210 locations across Australia, 13 Countries World wide Physio-designed program teaches children the fundamentals of 13 different sports and develops essential motor skills in a fun, non-competitive environment.

Age Groups:

  • Our classes are designed to focus on a specific gross motor, hand-eye / foot-eye and/or balance activity to complement the sport component and our program structure is repeated each week so that participants become familiar and comfortable with the routine.


  • We invite and encourage parental participation in our classes, and - trust us - parents love our classes as much as the kids!

All equipment used in the Ready Steady Go Kids programme has been specifically designed and modified to ensure age appropriateness, reliability and safety.

Our programme objectives are as follows:

  • Introduce children to a variety of sports in a structured, safe, inclusive and non-competitive environment.
  • Show children that sport and physical activity are fun, thus developing a lifelong passion for exercise.
  • Develop and enhance age-appropriate gross motor skills, coordination, and correct posture.
  • Teach the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork.
  • Decrease childhood obesity.
  • Increase each child’s confidence and ability to accomplish tasks independently.
  • Prepare children to perform better in school and participation in the broader community.

Our Classes:

Each Ready Steady Go Kids class runs for a 45 minute duration, and we cover ten sports on a rotational basis over 2 terms.

Science-based foundation

Our programme was designed by a paediatric physiotherapist and occupational therapist. It aims to enhance children’s gross and fine motor skills, encourage their continued participation in sports and prepare them for the early school years.

Multi-sports programme

We teach 13 different sports which helps children develop a broad range of skills, builds a platform of sporting knowledge and the variety ensures continued interest in the programme.

Small class sizes

Class capacities range from 10-14 children and have a maximum of 1:7 coach to child ratio. This means more attention for your child and better learning outcomes.

Venues and Equipment

High quality venues / locations are utilized to ensure children’s safety. All equipment used in the Ready Steady Go Kids programme has been specifically designed and modified to ensure age appropriateness, reliability and safety.

Incorporating “soft-skills”

Our programme incorporates basic counting and colour concepts, encourages team work and sportsmanship, builds social skills and develops listening skills and concentration. All of which improves child’s preparation to perform better in school.

The “feel good factor”

Children develop greater self-confidence, enhanced self-esteem and a real sense of achievement, all of which shape their physiological well being.
